G1 Birthday Celebration

Salem Assembly Youth and Young Adult (G1)
Celebrated for the first time, birthdays for everyone born between 1st January and 31st March.
Service started with a very interesting discussion with Salemites sharing where do they draw their strength when they find themselves in a place of weakness. Everyone got a chance to share. I will single out brother Mabasa when he said 'He also gains strength from this verse "Jeremiah 29:11
[11]For I know the plans I have for you,” says the lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
Sister Serine gave us a very good advice that we must know what works for us and what doesn't, went on to encourage the youth to try open up to their parents. It was a great service in so many ways and it was interesting hearing diferedif ways that help people out of a place of weakness, how people draw their strength.

We had come to celebrate birthdays so we got to sing the happy birthday song for our special brothers and sisters and the cake was cut.
All the glory to God for carrying our brothers and sisters through the years. We appreciate all the blessings, favours, we appreciate the Divine Protection.

Thank you to everyone who offered their time and came to spend it in the house of The Lord. God bless you.
God bless G1 Youth and Young Adults.

  1. We are very blessed to have platforms like this to share to have everyone sharing something. Let's not forget to put those suggestions for topics. And let us work together and pay those monthly contributions of R20. I really enjoyed the service.
