Salem Assembly Workers Fellowship, (15/07/17)

Here are all the important points I learned from the workers Fellowship.
It was a very eye opening and  informative meeting, and its hugely contributing to my Growth
Spiritually and just as a person even at home.

                    'Being A Team Player'.

  • You do not stop being a team player, it is a continuous thing.
  • You must always be ready when you are needed.
  • Do as you are told to do, and do it on time, do not procrastinate. 
  • Have an attitude to be willing to do as you are told.
  • Do not add or subtract , do exactly what you are told to do.
  • Submit to the Father and do not assist.
          Examples of Team Players are shown in Exodus 17, Ephesians 4
                 
                'Things to know about a Team'
  • Every team member is as important.
  • The team is as strong as its weakest member.
  • As team members we are not independent and we are not dependent but we are Interdependent.
  • You must not have pride.
  • Team members compliment each other, they do not compete.
  • Have different skills, different positions and different responsibilities in a team.
                  'Levels of leadership'

  • Stand in your respective post as a leader.
  • Take the church seriously.
  • The church must become your priority.
  • Know the reason why are here.
  • Do not be moved by offence.
  • As a leader always watch what you are saying even amongst your juniors.
  • Please, never sit in a group of people who are talking negative things about the Pastor.
  • Be Spiritual and Mentally matured.
  • Be of Good character.
  • Every leader in church must be a consistent Tither.
  • Leaders must be tested.
  • Leaders must have the Spirit and the Heart of a leader.
  • Submit to authority of the church, It is a MUST.
  • Do not say what you say, Say what the church says, 'What the Pastor says'.
  • Every leader must be an example, Set a good example.  
I can say I am very lucky to have a great Spiritual home as Salem Assembly that is looking after me in so many different ways to always get the best out of me.

Power for Power

My father was on Fire, Personally I learned that "There is power that was given to me through the word of God, My Lord Jesus is that Power," therefore by the power in the Blood of Jesus, By the power in the name of Jesus, the devil has no power over me, "No power of the enemy shall harm me". I have authority over anything. I heard my Father referring to the death of Samson, if we could all die like Samson did. Samson prayed to the Lord " Sovereign Lord, remember me. Please, God, Strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes." Judges 16:28. Let us be Fire Lighters

Acts 28:2-3 (NIV) " The islanders showed us unusual kindness. They built a fire and welcomed us all because it was raining and cold.  Paul gathered a pile of brushwood and, as he put it on the fire, a viper, driven out by the heat, fastened itself on his hand." We see here that Paul did not sit around and watch as the Islanders built Fire for them, he got involved in the making of Fire. Our father referred to this Script on our recent Workers Fellowship meeting, Sunday the 21st Jan 2018.  So Salemites let us take it to ourselves to make sure that we run with the vision of our church. As this is our year of VISIBILITY, let us do everything in our Power to give our church exposure. This is our Time, this is our Season, 'let us all catch our Father's Spirit'  Take everything you do for God personal and take responsibility to achieve the VISIBILITY that we talk about.
