Salem Assembly is Visible

Today I want us to celebrate the fact that we are Visible. The Bilble says "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house." The word of God here dispels any doubt that indeed we are Visible. Therefore as Children of Salem Assembly we need to go out there to the world and shine. We need to not fear anything because we don't just like God or just interesred in God, but we are Connected to God. 1 John 1:5(NIV) "This is the message we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is Light; in Him there is no darkness at all." Therefore Salemites if indeed we are connected to God, our Father, we are in the Light and there is absolutely no way that we can not be Visible. Here is a recording of our father preaching at Lamb and Lion Ministries last night (22/02/2018). Lamb and Lion Ministries is situated Just next to Basa Primary school in Protea Glen Ext 11. G1 Birthday Celebration

Salem Assembly Youth and Young Adult (G1) Celebrated for the first time, birthdays for everyone born between 1st January and 31st March. Service started with a very interesting discussion with Salemites sharing where do they draw their strength when they find themselves in a place of weakness. Everyone got a chance to share. I will single out brother Mabasa when he said 'He also gains strength from this verse "Jeremiah 29:11 [11]For I know the plans I have for you,” says the lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Sister Serine gave us a very good advice that we must know what works for us and what doesn't, went on to encourage the youth to try open up to their parents. It was a great service in so many ways and it was interesting hearing diferedif ways that help people out of a place of weakness, how people draw their strength.
