Salem Assembly Social Department has Arrived at 'The Soweto Home For The Aged'

Romans 12:13 NIV "Share with the Lord's people who are in need. Practice hospitality."

Here Paul is telling us that God wants us to be generous because our generosity Glorifies our generous God.

As Salem Assembly Social Department continues to grow in generosity, today they are here at The Soweto Home For The Aged. It is by God's Grace that generosity in them is becoming a lifestyle.

It is so pleasing to see their right motive of Giving, As God has favoured us so much through His mercy and generosity, He has given us eternal life through the sacrifice of His only Son. You see that this giving comes from the desire to please God and Glorify Him by reflecting His generous nature to others.

Let us be Fire Lighters

Acts 28:2-3 (NIV) " The islanders showed us unusual kindness. They built a fire and welcomed us all because it was raining and cold.  Paul gathered a pile of brushwood and, as he put it on the fire, a viper, driven out by the heat, fastened itself on his hand." We see here that Paul did not sit around and watch as the Islanders built Fire for them, he got involved in the making of Fire.
