Only God's door must remain open
2 Kings: 4. 33. He went in, shut the door on the two of them and prayed to the Lord.
Upon closing the door, Elisha closed the door to logic and common sense. He closed the door, to a medidal report and the tears of mourning from the boy's mother and consulted the King of kings, the giver of life and the, boy's life was surely restored.
When u pray, shut the door to doubt, logic, common sense, experience and trust God to the end. He is still the God of ressurection, and He shall bring anything dead in your life back to life, if you believe.

Very true we need to just be confident in God's ability and stop leaning on our understanding. It's easy to fall in that trap of doubting.
ReplyDeleteAnd to receive our Blessings we need to believe before we even see, "John 20:27-29 (NIV)
DeleteThen he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”"
God commands us to “not doubt, but believe,” because He knows how much more abundant our lives will be when we are full of faith. We really need to take our understanding out of the picture, or we need to Kill it.
