Great Impact is a Fasting and Prayer revival. It is a Powerful tool that the Lord has given us this year for our personal lives and for our church life. We all need to take it very serious and personal as our commitment shall benefit us and the church. Our Father is teaching us three things this year which are very important Prayer Fasting, and Giving These three things are the mandate of the #GreatImpact. Let us be awake and vigilant and make sure that we rich our goal for this year, as our Father always says 'Let's make sure we score early'. Salem Assembly Youth and Young Adult (G1) Celebrated for the first time, birthdays for everyone born between 1st January and 31st March. Service started with a very interesting discussion with Salemites sharing where do they draw their strength when they find themselves in a place of weakness. Everyone got a chance to share. I will single out brother Mabasa when he said 'He also gains strength from this verse "Jeremiah 29:11 [11]For I know the plans I have for you,” says the lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Sister Serine gave us a very good advice that we must know what works for us and what doesn't, went on to encourage the youth to try open up to their parents. It was a great service in so many ways and it was interesting hearing diferedif ways that help people out of a place of weakness, how people draw their strength.
